Neighbours is a private communication and community-management platform operated by FunLovers Tech ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Neighbours app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Name and email address (via account registration)
• Building membership, invite code used, and unit number
• Address-verification documents (e.g. utility bills, lease agreements)
• Community posts, event RSVPs, shared items, and amenity bookings you create
• Support requests and the content of messages you send us

We use the information we collect to:

• Connect you to your building and verify your residency
• Display your name to other verified residents of your building
• Deliver announcements, event invitations, and booking confirmations
• Provide property managers with tools to manage their buildings
• Respond to support requests and improve the Service

Residents join a building using a unique invite code issued by their property manager. Each building's content is scoped to that building; residents of one building cannot see the content of another. Your invite code and unit number are used solely for verification and building assignment and are not displayed publicly.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We use third-party service providers (for example, email-delivery, file-storage, and analytics providers) to operate the Service. These providers process limited data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations. Your name and email may be visible to your building administrator and the property-management company managing your building. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.

As the platform operator, FunLovers Tech has administrative access to building data. This access is used solely to provide support, improve the Service, and generate monthly usage insights (such as adoption and engagement summaries) shared with your property manager. This does not involve any new collection of your data — it reflects the access we already need to operate and maintain Neighbours.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via Help & Support. Verification documents are deleted within 30 days of a verification decision. Building content may be retained after a resident leaves a building as needed to serve the building community.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

Neighbours is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
